Perinatal pathology is a subspecialty of pediatrics that comprises of the restorative consideration of babies, particularly the immature baby. The patients of neonatologists are babies who are sick or requiring unique therapeutic consideration because of  low birth weight, inborn distortions, pre mature birth, intrauterine growth restriction, sepsis, lung hypoplasia or perinatal asphyxia.
