Pediatric Surgery

Pediatric surgery is the sub-specialty of surgery which majorly involves surgery of fetuses, babies, adolescents, children, and young adults. Subspecialties of pediatric surgery include two types: neonatal surgery and fetal surgery. If a child is suffering from any sort of illness, injury, or disease that can only be treated by a surgery, a pediatric surgeon has the experience and qualifications to treat your child. Surgical problems are monitored by pediatric surgeons which are often different from those commonly seen by adult or general surgeons. Special training in pediatric surgery is important.
